Empowered Somerset

We are particularly motivated when a client has specific needs due to their unique position. Empowered Living is a charity that works with young adults who have learning difficulties or sensory impairments. What they aim to provide for their users requires all of our effort to ensure the design matches their vision and purpose.

The new building was designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, as though it had always been part of the area. However, the internal layout and technical design came with very precise specifications. Every element, from the size of the bathrooms and lounges to the circulation areas and storage, had to be carefully considered and crafted to ensure the space was as functional and comfortable as possible for its users.
